Patient Service Representative

Katahdin Valley Health Center (KVHC) is now hiring an Patient Service Representative for our Patten location. The Patient Service Representative will provide administrative support to medical staff, schedule follow up appointments and complete all general front office duties. The person in this role will use their skills to assist with the facilitation of patient care, work as a part of the Care Team, while coordinating the flow of communication between nursing, medical and office staff.

High School or equivalent diploma. Business course and a working knowledge of a professional office setting. Proficient with computer/keyboard and Microsoft Office products. Must possess the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, with proper grammar and etiquette. Previous working experience in a Health Care Setting. Customer/Patient service experience. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and problem solving skills. Must be able to work under pressure in a busy health office setting. Must possess the ability to follow all safety policies.
