KVHC is a network of nine clinics, offering affordable, comprehensive primary care to people of all ages since 1974. KVHC is focused on providing higher quality for lower costs while maximizing the patient’s experience of care. KVHC serves patients in Aroostook, Penobscot, and northern Piscataquis County.

KVHC is a National Committee for Quality Assurance Level 3 Patient Centered Medical Home as well as an accredited PCMH organization through the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.

Community Care Partnership of Maine (CCPM)

October 31, 2024 – Community Care Partnership of Maine (CCPM), an Accountable Care Organization whose membership is comprised of twenty-two healthcare organizations including Katahdin Valley Health Center, is pleased to announce the achievement of shared savings for performance year 2023 of the Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP). This is CCPM’s eighth consecutive year of success in as many years of participation in the program. For the 2023 performance year, CCPM generated $13,232,772 in total savings for Medicare, resulting in $5,187,247 in shared savings returning to CCPM and its member organizations. Part of this money will go back to Katahdin Valley Health Center to reinvest in initiatives that will improve patient care.
